Managers are required in salons in the following situations: |

The salon owner works in the salon less than 3 days a week

The salon owner is a corporation

The salon is open more than 8 hours a day and/or more than 5 days a week, these
salons need 2 managers to have one on duty at all times

I cannot locate the bottom portion of my salon
license, how do I renew it? |
We accept payments that do not have the proper renewal portion, however to insure
proper credit to your salon, the following must be included: |
- Salon Name

Owner Name and Social Security Number

Salon Address
-
Money order, cashiers check or personal check
|

Can I hire a barber to work in my salon?
|
Yes, you may employ Barbers, however, cosmetology salons are not allowed to have
apprentices in them. |

Can I get into trouble if I hire someone with an
expired license or no license?
|
Yes, you may be fined or have your license revoked. |
